“Blanco en blanco” de Théo Court obtiene fondo Hubert Bals
Théo Court gana fondo Hubert Bals para su próxima película
El realizador chileno obtuvo apoyo para la fase de guión y desarrollo de “Blanco en blanco”, su segundo largometraje tras “Ocaso”.
El realizador chileno Théo Court obtuvo un importante impulso para desarrollar su segundo largometraje, al conseguir en Holanda el prestigioso apoyo del Hubert Bals Fund que depende del Festival de Cine de Rotterdam.
Court, cuyo primer largometraje “Ocaso” se paseó por diversos festivales a nivel internacional, ahora se encuentra preparando la cinta “Blanco en blanco”, que contará apoyo para el proceso de guión y desarrollo.
En total fueron once los realizadores latinoamericanos que consiguieron apoyo del fondo holandés, de un total de 18 proyectos beneficiados en áreas que van desde la producción a la distribución.
Para su selección actual, el fondo entrega un total de 352.500 euros a repartir entre todos los beneficiados, que vienen de Asia, África y Latinoamérica.
Entre otros proyectos de la región que recibieron el apoyo están la argentina “Los salvajes”, Alejandro Fadel; “Corta”, del colombiano Felipe Guerrero; y “La playa”, del también colombiano Juan Andrés Arango. Las tres recibirán financiación para completar sus procesos de postproducción.
Court ya había obtenido el beneficio el 2010 para la fase de postproducción de “Ocaso”, que se estrenó el año pasado en el Festival de Valdivia.
