Encuentro de Gestiones Autónomas de Artes Visuales Contemporáneas
El trabajo que vienen realizando en America del Sur un grupo de artistas y gestores culturales lo consideramos una de las iniciativas de proyectos a largo plazo más significativas e importantes de y para la región. Uno de los colectivos más activos en estos últimos tiempos es Curatoria Forense, encabezado por Ilze Petroni y Jorge Sepúlveda T., les dejamos a continuación una introducción y el enlace completo al artículo sobre el Encuentro de Gestiones Autónomas de Artes Visuales Contemporáneas realizados en Julio de este año en Córdoba, Argentina.
“Los últimos quince años de la producción artística y discursiva en Argentina están marcados por importantes innovaciones en la forma de trabajo, vinculación y circulación del arte contemporáneo.
Conceptos tales como “escena local” y “gestión independiente” organizan y potencian los esfuerzos y acciones de artistas y gestores de las distintas provincias argentinas; creando y fortaleciendo vínculos, generando convenios tácticos y alianzas estratégicas que densifican la escena y exigen mayores competencias laborales, económicas y políticas a quienes participan del sistema de arte; en beneficio de una relación efectiva entre el arte contemporáneo, la cultura y la sociedad.
Es por ello que, durante cinco días, reunimos a destacados gestores nacionales que han participado de este proceso para conversar, debatir y poner a prueba sus hipótesis y convicciones; entender las especificidades de sus entornos locales; compartir sus experiencias, sus éxitos y fracasos, entre otros.
