Desde el 10-13 de noviembre del 2011, la Galería de Arte Contemporáneo Lyle O. Reitzel , una de las Galerías fundadoras de la feria, por quinta vez consecutiva, formara parte de la mas prestigiosa Feria de arte Latinoamericana de arte en New York,”PINTA NYC 2011″, representando la Republica Dominicana, con un batería de artistas emergentes y consagrados, exhibiendo obras recientes de los artistas plásticos dominicanos, Ignacio Iturria, Gerard Ellis, José García Cordero y Tania Marmolejo, así como piezas inéditas del reconocido maestro contemporaneo de origen cubano, radicado en Miami, Jose Bedia y nuevas piezas del artista de Haití, Edouard Duval Carrie.
En esta entrega PINTA 2011, se muda a un lugar mucha mas atractivo y de fácil acceso, ubicada en 7 West 34th Street, 5th Avenue, New York, NY.
El interés en el arte contemporáneo latinoamericano ha crecido considerablemente en años recientes. Importantes museos y colecciones privadas, curadores, educadores y galerías de arte han recibido atención internacional. Con la llegada de PINTA, ahora existe una feria de arte con sede en EE.UU. para complementar todas las actividades relacionadas con el arte latinoamericano.
PINTA es un evento único que se lleva a cabo cada año. Las galerías participantes tienen la oportunidad de exhibir y vender lo mejor del arte latinoamericano. Coincidiendo con Christie’s y Sotheby’s de América Latina y subastas de arte con importantes muestras en museos e instituciones culturales en la ciudad de Nueva York.
Los organizadores de la feria han invitado a las galerías más prestigiosas de los Estados Unidos, América Latina y Europa a participar en este evento. Por lo tanto, PINTA será una feria exclusiva que incluirá la participación de cincuenta galerías de arte que presentaran obras de calidad para coleccionistas de un circuito muy sofisticado.
