HOMENAJE AL BICENTENARIO DEL URUGUAY EN LA CASA NACIONAL DEL BICENTENARIO
En el año del Bicentenario del Uruguay, celebramos con la música de Fernando Cabrera, Hugo Fatorusso, Daniel Drexler, Pablo Grinjot, Ojos de Cielo y Millonesdecasasconfantasmas.
También homenajeamos a las poetisas uruguayas: Idea Villariño, Marosa di Giorgio y Circe Maia y proyectamos notables películas del cine uruguayo contemporáneo.
Organizan: Ministerio de Educación y Cultura del Uruguay, INCAU (Instituto de Cine y Audiovisual del Uruguay), Embajada del Uruguay en la Argentina, Dirección Nacional de Artes y Casa Nacional del Bicentenario de la Secretaría de Cultura de la Nación.

Hugo Fattoruso
Hugo Fattoruso es compositor, arreglador, multiinstrumentista y vocalista uruguayo, fundamental dentro de la música de ese país.
Además de desarrollar una intensa carrera solista, ha tocado en diversos formatos: Los Shakers, Opa, Barcarola, Grupo del Cuareim, Los Pusilánimes, La Escuelita, Trío Fattoruso, Rey Tambor, Fattoruso-Mazza-Fattorusso, entre otros.
Su trayectoria profesional es difícil de contar y relativamente fácil de deducir dada la variedad de músicos y artistas con quienes ha compartido escenarios y/o grabaciones. Entre otros, Eduardo Mateo, Jorge Graf, Jaime Roos, Rubén Rada, Laura Canoura, Toto Méndez, Larbanois-Carrero, Pitufo Lombardo, La Tríada, Chico Buarque de Holanda, Milton Nascimento, Djavan, Fafá de Belém, Miucha, María Bethania, Arismar do Espirito Santo, Toninho Horta, Joao Bosco, Hermeto Pascoal, Geraldo Azevedo, Naná Vasconcelos, Airto Moreira, Flora Purim, Abraham Laboriel, Manolo Badrena, Hiram Bullock, Vernon Reid, Don Cherry, Giovanni Hidalgo, Ron Carter, Lito Nebbia, Fito Páez, Liliana Herrero, Luis Salinas, Adriana Varela, Takamasa Segi y Yahiro Tomohiro.

El baño del Papa (2007) de Enrique Fernández y César Charlone
Sinópsis
Es el año 1988 y el Papa Juan Pablo II visitará la ciudad de Melo. Se calcula que 50.000 personas asistirán a verlo. Los pobladores más humildes creen que vendiéndole comida y bebida a esa multitud se harán casi ricos. Beto, un contrabandista en bicicleta, decide en cambio construir un excusado en el frente de su casa y alquilar el servicio, para lograr lo cual debe atravesar una serie de dificultades tragicómicas. Solo unos 8.000 fieles concurren finalmente. Nadie ve nada y únicamente una anciana hace uso del retrete. El sueño de Beto se hace trizas pero a lo largo de la historia su hija llega a comprenderlo mejor. Quizás incluso a quererlo.
